I am cooler hand than usual...
Two months since my last post...wow.
Now in the whirlwind that has been the gap between then and now:
-Jem and Alex got married
-Worked 2 other weddings (Cristy & Tom) and (Bev & Jax)
-Sister AND London had their bdays
-Dang, Aileen & Brian got married
-A ton of people got engaged
-A ton of people celebrated their bdays
(apologies to anyone and any event I may have missed)
So as you can see...lots of things have happened event-wise and it definitely seems like weddings abound man, always. That being said..err, written, I find it oddly and mildly amusing that I am always so happy and surprised every time I hear about another couple ready to tie the knot. I guess you can never get too much of a good thing; or be too blessed. And that's probably why, now that I kinda "work" in the whole wedding industry, I never get tired of seeing the joy on the couples' faces, and their family and friends too. I admit, there are some times when I just don't have as much energy, but I really do think that people can bring you up and you can borrow some of theirs, he he he. So here's to all the couples out there, wed, ready to wed, and not quite there yet!!!
The LB Half is this weekend, and I feel quite unprepared; was training well up until I had to leave for the east coast, and since, I haven't run very much. Gonna try to do a re-fresh run tonight, so we'll see how it goes. My knee has been ailing me a tad, so I thought I'd rather rest it than try to catch up on training and aggravate it. If worse comes to worse, I'll walk-run the darn thing.
Anyway, I just needed to take a mental break from work...monotony can be quite draining, he he he.
Hopefully, my mind has more thoughts to write about...I really need to get into the habit of writing more...it helps me retain my faculties.
